The followings steps were performed with 4 Quicknotes, not including the Main Note.

1. Make sure the Quicknote List (navigation sidebar) is visible
2. Select the last note in the list
3. Press the hotkey to switch between notes, Ctrl+T
4. Observe that you switch to the first note, the Main Note
5. Select the last note in the list again
Hide the Quicknote List from view
6. Press the hotkey to switch between notes, Ctrl+T
7. Observe that you switch to a new blank note

This behavior isn't ideal since, it makes it impossible to navigate back to previous notes while the Quicknote List is hidden. A possible location might be to add a hotkey such as Ctrl+Shift+T to switch between notes in the opposite direction.

Note: If the buttons topbar is visible while doing the last steps, then you can see that every time Ctrl+T is pressed it creates a new blank note. Meanwhile, if you use the Quicknote List to switch back to an existing note, hide the Quicknote List, and then press Ctrl+T from the last note, it jumps to the last created blank note. (I.e. if you had 3 notes with text (Z1, Z2, Z3) and then performed step 6 above five times to create five new blanks notes (Z4-Z8), going back to Z3 and pressing Ctrl+T while the Quicknote List is hidden would jump to note Z8 rather than Z4.

Mistake in the steps listing. "Hide the Quicknote List from view" should have appeared as step 6, and the following steps should each have been incremented appropriately.

The behaviour is as designed.

Did you try Strg+Shift+T? It should already be working to go back in the other direction.

The different behavior depending on the visibility of the list and bar is to be historically compatible with people who access the notes via Z1-Zx and the numbers in the B bar.

I plan to change it that if the N and B bar are not expanded, it takes the order of the N list.
