I have been trying to open (in Firefox) text URL's by double-clicking them as help indicates - nothing happens excepts the target URL is highlighted. I've read through help and can't find anything I'm missing; "Open URL..." in Options is enabled.

You use Quicknote 5.5 right? Have you used 5.4 before and did it work then?

What happens if you select a URL in the note and right click on it and then choose "Open Target"?

19-02-2010 (11:30) 		I have v5.5 Build 53; I upgraded with just the quicknote.exe and qntransf.exe files (qnvolvi.dll appears unchanged).

When I right-click on selected URL, there is no "Open Target", only "Open Location".

I had used v 5.3, then 5.4 but never tried opening a URL.

Not sure what other clues I can give you except Firefox version is 3.5.8.

The selection was accidentally expanded to include the newline character.
Interestingly, this was only a problem in Windows XP, as Vista or newer seemed to ignore that character.

Thanks for your help. A new version of Quicknote (5.5.55) is online now.
